Mondo understands the importance of personal information to you and will do its utmost to protect your personal information in a secure and reliable manner. We are committed to maintaining your trust in us and abide by the following principles in protecting your personal information: the principle of consistent rights and responsibilities, the principle of clear purposes, the principle of choice and consent, the principle of minimum necessity, the principle of ensuring security, the principle of subject participation, and the principle of openness and transparency. At the same time, Mondo undertakes that we will take corresponding security protection measures in accordance with mature industry security standards to protect your personal information.

Please read and understand this Privacy Policy carefully before using our products or services.

How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information

Personal information refers to various information recorded in electronic or other forms relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, excluding information after anonymization. Mondo will only collect and use your personal information for the following purposes described in this Policy.

(1) Account Registration and Login

To complete the creation of your Mondo account, you may need to provide the following information to Mondo: your mobile phone number, email address, username, and password. During the registration process or after completing your account creation, you may additionally provide us with your account avatar, nickname, and other information, which will help us provide you with better services and experience. If you do not provide such information, it will not affect your use of the basic functions of Mondo Products and Services.

Certain Mondo Products and Services offer you third-party account login options. If you wish to log in using a third-party account, we need to obtain your third-party account information, such as the third-party account's OpenID, nickname, and avatar, and bind your third-party account to your Mondo account. We will only obtain your third-party account information with your authorization.

(2) Purchase and Delivery of Products or Services

If you purchase Mondo products or services from us, in order to facilitate the transaction, you will need to provide us with information required to generate purchase orders, deliver products or services, and issue invoices, including one or more of the following: your name, phone number, email address, shipping address, ID number, payment account, and payment order information.

(3) Use of Mondo Products or Services

During your use of Mondo Products or Services, in order to ensure the normal functioning of the corresponding features, you may need to provide us with the following information:

Device Information: Your robot device model, firmware version, device serial number, etc., used for device activation and identity verification, compatibility adaptation, firmware upgrade push, and after-sales support.

Controller Information: Controller calibration data, joystick dead zone configuration, button customization settings, etc., used to achieve precise pairing between the controller and the robot, personalized configuration of control parameters, and optimization of the control experience.

Control Data: Controller input signals, robot motion status data, speed gear settings, etc., used to achieve precise robot motion control, real-time response to control commands, and abnormal operation detection and safety protection.

Sensor Data: Environmental data collected by robot sensors, motion trajectory data, etc., used to achieve obstacle avoidance, path planning, automatic following, and safe device operation.

Capture Data: Photos and video content captured through the robot (if applicable), used for material storage and management, AI smart editing input, content sharing, and shooting quality optimization.

Device Logs: Product operation logs, fault logs, operation records, etc., used for problem or fault verification.

Network Information: Your IP address, connection status, etc., when accessing our products or services, used to ensure network connection stability, service availability monitoring, security risk control, and service regional adaptation.

AI Video Editing and Content Analysis: When you use AI video editing, automatic video generation, smart camera movement, person recognition, pet recognition, sports highlight recognition, video cover recommendation, and other functions, we may analyze videos, images, audio, and related metadata that you actively upload or process locally, for intelligent clip selection; video content classification; subject recognition; automatic editing content generation; music rhythm matching; video quality optimization; video summary and recommendation. If the relevant AI functions require uploading sensitive personal information to cloud servers for processing, we will inform you separately through pop-ups, page prompts, or other appropriate means, and obtain your separate consent.

If you refuse to provide such information, we will be unable to provide you with the corresponding services, but it will not affect your use of other functions of Mondo Products and Services.

In order to achieve robot control, device connection, automatic following, video shooting, AI video editing, material export, device diagnosis, and other functions, we may request the following system permissions:

1. Camera permission, for video shooting, automatic following, and AI recognition;
1. Microphone permission, for video recording and voice collection;
1. Bluetooth permission, for robot connection and network configuration;
1. Location information permission, for Bluetooth device discovery and device connection;
1. Album/Storage permission, for saving and exporting videos;
1. Notification permission, for device reminders and system notifications.

You can disable the relevant permissions in your mobile device system settings. After disabling, the relevant functions may not be available, but other basic functions will not be affected.

(4) Improving Our Service Quality

To enhance your service experience, improve service quality, prevent risks, or recommend better or more suitable services to you, we will collect information you provide when contacting our customer service team and communication records, questionnaire responses you send to us when participating in surveys, and information about the categories and methods of services you use, operations when using services, etc.

(5) Providing Information and Advertisements of Interest to You

Unless applicable law does not permit, we will provide you with information or advertisements that may be of interest to you through the contact information you provide (such as your phone number, email address) or in the form of push notifications within Mondo Products and Services. If you do not wish to receive such information, you can unsubscribe through the methods provided in the information or adjust the push notification settings within Mondo Products and Services.

(6) Developing Data Analysis and Research to Improve Our Products or Services

We may invite you to join Mondo's product improvement program through Mondo Products or Services to help us design new products and services or improve our existing products and services. If you agree to join the product improvement program, we may collect the following information from you for analysis and research of products or services: your account information, Mondo device information, mobile device information, usage behavior data, product usage data, and operation logs. If you choose not to join the product improvement program, it will not affect your use of Mondo products or services. You can also withdraw from the product improvement program at any time through the settings page of the App.

Specific content of the "Product Improvement Program":

1. Ground object data collection, used to improve the robot's object recognition and obstacle avoidance capabilities; we will upload recognized ground object data and analyze such data to help us better iterate algorithms.
1. AI model real-time updates, used to improve robot performance and user experience; after collecting, statistically analyzing, and processing all user-provided product improvement program data, we will update relevant data that can improve the robot's local AI model parameters to the robot.

Please note that some of the above content may only apply to specific models of branded robot products (as specified in the product manual).

Without your written consent, we will not use the collected information for other purposes.

(7) Safeguarding National, Public, and Your and Others' Interests

You are fully aware that in the following circumstances, we have the right to collect and use your personal information without obtaining your authorization:

1. Relating to national security or national defense security;
1. Relating to public security, public health, or significant public interests;
1. Relating to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments;
1. To respond to public health emergencies, or to protect your or other natural persons' life, health, and property safety in emergency situations;
1. The personal information collected is voluntarily disclosed by you to the public;
1. Your personal information collected from legally publicly disclosed information, such as legal news reports, government information disclosure, and other channels;
1. Necessary for entering into and performing a contract to which you are a party;
1. Necessary for maintaining the safe and stable operation of the products and/or services provided, such as discovering and handling faults in the products and/or services;
1. Necessary for legal news reporting;
1. Academic research institutions conducting statistics or academic research based on public interests, and providing academic research or description results after de-identifying the personal information contained in the results;
1. Relating to our performance of obligations stipulated by laws and regulations;
1. Other circumstances stipulated by laws and regulations.

Your personal information may contain sensitive personal information, such as your travel trajectory, precise location information, video and audio content, facial images, biometric-related features, and real-time device environmental perception data. When using our products or services, please pay attention to protecting your sensitive personal information. We only process sensitive personal information when there is a specific purpose and sufficient necessity, and we adopt strict protection measures. You have the right to refuse to provide relevant information, but some functions may not be realized.

Regarding third-party person image information, you understand and confirm that when using functions such as automatic following, video shooting, live streaming, and AI video editing, images, sounds, or behavioral information of other individuals may be collected. You should ensure that you have obtained legal authorization from the relevant individuals in accordance with applicable law or have other legal processing bases. We recommend that you avoid using shooting functions in situations involving others' privacy, sensitive locations, or without authorization.

The above information provided by you will be used by us for the period necessary to achieve the purposes described in this Policy. When you cancel your account, we will stop using and delete the above information. If laws and regulations have other requirements for the retention period of information, we will comply with the provisions of laws and regulations.

The above information will be stored within the territory of the People's Republic of China. If cross-border transfer is required, we will conduct a security assessment in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations.

When we use your personal information for purposes not specified in this Policy, or use personal information collected for specific purposes for other purposes, we will seek your consent in advance.

How We Use Cookies and Similar Technologies

(1) Cookies

To ensure the proper functioning of the website, we store small data files called Cookies on your computer or mobile device. Cookies typically contain identifiers, site names, and some numbers and characters. 1. Sharing with our affiliates: Your personal information may be shared with our affiliates. We will only share necessary personal information, and such sharing is subject to the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy.
1. Sharing with authorized partners: To achieve the purposes stated in this Policy, certain services will be provided by authorized partners. We will only share your personal information for legitimate, proper, necessary, specific, and explicit purposes, and will only share personal information necessary to provide the services. Our partners are not authorized to use the shared personal information for any other purposes.
1. Third-party SDKs: To provide and optimize our services, third-party SDKs may be embedded in our Apps. Please refer to the third-party SDK descriptions in each App for details.

1. After obtaining your explicit consent;

How We Protect Your Personal Information

(1) We have used security measures that comply with industry standards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, public disclosure, use, modification, damage, or loss. For example, we use encryption technology to ensure the confidentiality of data; we use trusted protection mechanisms to prevent data from malicious attacks; we have established a dedicated personal information protection department; and we deploy access control mechanisms to ensure that only authorized personnel can access personal information.

(2) We will take all reasonable and feasible measures to ensure that irrelevant personal information is not collected. We will only retain your personal information for the period necessary to achieve the purposes stated in this Policy, unless an extended retention period is required or permitted by law.

(3) The Internet is not an absolutely secure environment. We strongly recommend that you do not send personal information through unencrypted means. Please use complex passwords to help us ensure the security of your account.

(4) In the unfortunate event of a personal information security incident, we will promptly inform you of the basic situation and possible impact of the security incident, the measures we have taken or will take, suggestions for your own prevention and risk reduction, and remedial measures for you, in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations. At the same time, we will also proactively report the handling of personal information security incidents to regulatory authorities as required.

Your Rights

In accordance with relevant Chinese laws, regulations, and common practices in other countries and regions, we guarantee that you can exercise the following rights over your personal information:

(1) Access Your Personal Information

You have the right to access your personal information in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations. You can operate by yourself by visiting the personal profile and other related pages in the Mondo App, or contact us by sending an email to service@mondorobotics.com.

(2) Correct Your Personal Information

When you find that the personal information we process about you is incorrect, you have the right to request us to make corrections. You can send an email to service@mondorobotics.com or contact us through the methods provided in the Mondo App.

(3) Delete Your Personal Information

In the following circumstances, you can request us to delete personal information:

1. If our collection and use of personal information violate laws and regulations;
1. If our processing of personal information violates the agreement with you;
1. If the data processing purpose has been achieved, cannot be achieved, or is no longer necessary to achieve the data processing purpose;
1. If we cease to provide products or services, or the retention period has expired;
1. If you withdraw consent.

(4) Change the Scope of Your Authorization and Consent

You may grant or withdraw your authorization and consent for the processing of additionally collected personal information at any time. When you withdraw consent, we will no longer process the corresponding personal information. However, your decision to withdraw consent will not affect the personal information processing previously carried out based on your authorization.

(5) Personal Information Subject Account Cancellation

You can cancel your previously registered Mondo account at any time by sending an email to service@mondorobotics.com or applying for account cancellation through the personal account page in the Mondo App. After canceling your account, we will stop providing you with products or services and delete your personal information or anonymize your personal information in accordance with your request, unless otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations.

(6) Restrain Information System Automatic Decision-Making

In certain business functions, we may make decisions solely based on non-human automatic decision-making mechanisms including information systems and algorithms. If these decisions significantly affect your legitimate rights and interests, you have the right to request an explanation from us, and we will also provide appropriate remedies.

(7) Respond to Your Above Requests

To ensure security, you may need to provide a written request or otherwise prove your identity. For your reasonable requests, we will not charge fees in principle, but for repeated requests that exceed reasonable limits, we will charge a certain cost fee as appropriate.

In the following circumstances, in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations, we will be unable to respond to your requests:

1. Directly related to national security or national defense security;
1. Directly related to public security, public health, or significant public interests;
1. Directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments;
1. There is sufficient evidence that you have subjective malice or abuse of rights;
1. Responding to your request will cause serious damage to the legitimate rights and interests of you or other individuals or organizations;
1. Involving trade secrets;
1. Relating to our performance of obligations stipulated by laws and regulations.

If you are not satisfied, you can also file a complaint or report with regulatory authorities such as cyberspace administration, telecommunications, public security, and industry and commerce.

How We Handle Children's Personal Information

Our products, websites, and services are primarily intended for adults. Children may not create their own user accounts without the consent of parents or guardians.

Although local laws and customs define children differently, we consider any person under the age of 14 to be a child.

If you are a child under 14 years of age (or the age stipulated by local law), please have your parents or guardians read this Policy and use our services only with the consent of your parents or guardians. Before that, please avoid providing us with any information that can identify you personally. In principle, personal information collected and generated within the territory of the People's Republic of China will be stored within the territory of the People's Republic of China.

As we provide products or services through resources and servers distributed globally, this means that your personal information may be transferred to jurisdictions outside the country/region where you use the products or services. We will conduct a security assessment before the transfer in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations. In such cases, we will ensure that your personal information receives adequate equivalent protection as within the territory of the People's Republic of China.

Personal Information Retention Period

After the aforementioned personal information retention period expires, we will delete or anonymize your personal information.
